Conference 2020 - Inclusive Growth
Focus on creating opportunities for all
Inclusive growth has been a feature of the Scottish Government’s Economic Strategy for the past five years, with governments across the globe agreeing that it can help tackle some of society’s most pressing challenges.
We have chosen this important theme for our annual conference this year to look at public sector inclusive growth priorities and what local organisations can do to support this agenda.
Delegates will hear from a fantastic roster of speakers including Scottish Government’s Chief Economic Adviser, Dr Gary Gillespie, and Professor Russel Griggs OBE, Chair of South of Scotland Enterprise, as well as being able to participate in practical workshops.
The Scotland Excel annual conference provides an opportunity for colleagues from across the public sector to get together to work collaboratively to advance specific policies and practice, with a focus on harnessing procurement to generate economic, social and environmental wellbeing in Scotland’s communities.
The conference will take place on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st February at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow.
